Why does it say my transfer is completed when the money has not arrived yet?

When a transaction status is marked as complete, it typically indicates that the funds have been successfully transferred to the recipient's account. However, there are instances where the recipient cannot see the funds in their bank account. Here are a few potential reasons for such situations:

1. Processing Delays at the Receiving Bank:
Some banks may have slower processing times, causing delays in crediting the funds to the recipient's account. In such cases, the recipient can expedite the process by providing their bank with a transfer receipt containing all necessary transaction details.

2. Differences in Recognition:
Upon receiving the funds, the recipient may not immediately recognize the transfer in their account. To address this:

  • Verify Sender's Information: Your recipient should search for a transaction on their bank statement from DSGPay. Your name may not be visible, or the transfer may be processed through one of our banking partners, identifiable by the reference number.
  • Check Currency and Amount: If the recipient's account is denominated in a different currency than the transfer, their bank will perform a currency conversion. This may result in a final amount different from the one initially sent.

If you encounter any issues with your transaction or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team at support@dsgpay.com.
